Ingredients:
- Alfalfa- otherwise known as the “Father of all Foods” and it is well deserved! It contains a wide variety of minerals including iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, sodium, potassium, silicon, and trace elements. It is also a good source of Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Additionally, it contains essential amino acids, which are not made by the body but must be obtained from food sources. Because Alfalfa is so easy to assimilate, it is used as the base in vitamins and supplements and it contains the highest chlorophyll content of any plant.*
- Hydrangea- An ornamental and medicinal plant native to North America, South America and Asia that has been used for the treatment of urinary tract and prostate disorders in traditional Chinese medicine and by Native American tribes of North America.*
- Horsetail- Derived from huge, tree-like plants that thrived 400 million years ago during the Paleozoic era. A close relative of the fern, horsetail is a nonflowering weed found throughout parts of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America. It has traditionally been used as a diuretic. One study examined the use of horsetail by people who had a history of uric acid kidney stones. The people who took horsetail experienced an increase in diuresis (urine output).*
- Saw palmetto- Several studies suggest that the herb is effective for treating symptoms, including too frequent urination, having trouble starting or maintaining urination, and needing to urinate during the night. The urethra, the tube that empties urine from the body, runs through the prostate gland in men. When the prostate gland is enlarged, men may have trouble urinating.*
- Cat’s Claw- Named after its hook-like horns, cat's claw is a woody vine native to the Amazon rainforest and other places in South and Central America. Cat's claw also has antioxidant properties, helping the body eliminate particles known as free radicals that damage cells. Antioxidants may help neutralize free radicals and may reduce, or even help prevent, some of the damage they cause.*
- Fenugreek- Contains many important antioxidants and has the added benefit of protecting other dietary and internally produced antioxidants from free-radical damage. This has important cardioprotective benefits, as well as helping to fortify the body against a range of other chronic conditions.*
